“We moved to Harford county, Md. from Virginia about 18 yrs ago.Our dilemma ( since we didn’t know anybody in the area) was always, who should we call for home repairs/projects etc. For several years we went through the routine of calling contractors that would either not call us back , not show up when they said they would to shoddy workmanship. “Billy did a complete tear down and remodel of our bathroom and powder room. His work is perfection. Very detailed oriented which is great! Kept work area extremely clean. Very knowledgeable in all aspects of the remodel, I.e., plumbing, electrical, Sheetrock, tiling, painting, moldings. Worked closely with us on all planning aspects, giving recommendations to keep us from making bad decisions. Has great artistic vision.Worked straight through regardless of weather conditions, rain, sleet, snow, etc. We are exceptionally pleased with the finished products. “I first met Billy about twenty years ago when he came to my house to give me an estimate for a powder room. He had me when he suggested just what I wanted and the previous contractor said it couldn’t be done that way. Not only did he do a great job on the powder room, but he let my two preschoolers “help”.
Since then, he has replaced a basement that was ruined in a flood and finished the basement in the house we now live in. We didn’t even bother to get other estimates because Billy is so meticulous that we knew we wanted him to do the work. And of course we were right!”

“With our children through college and on their own, we wanted finally to make major updates throughout the entire first floor of our home. We wanted a new kitchen, powder room, recessed lighting, moldings, wood floors and a remodel of our fireplace. Based on a recommendation from a kitchen designer, we contacted Billy Burke of Burke Construction. From our first meeting, we were impressed with how carefully Billy listened to our ideas and with his offer to bring us to one of his client’s homes to see samples of his work.
